Why I’m Taking Part
On the 20th of May along with Newcastle Hiking Group, I’m taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. We are raising funds for “Anxious Minds” which is a fantastic local mental heath charity. The challenge involves a 25 mile hike covering the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire, and must be completed in 12 hours.
Please support my challenge by making a donation. Anxious Minds provide early intervention and long term support for people in emotional distress.
£10 Pays for telephone support for 1 hour.
£20 Pays for a one hour counselling session.
£100 Pays for a suicide awareness course for up to 12 people.
£1,000 Keeps a support centre open for 1 month.
